Mountain in Amman, JordanAl-Joufa Mountain is an area in Jordan's capital Amman, south of the Roman amphitheater, and one of the seven mountains that comprise the city. In 1962 Dhaifallah Al-Hamoud, then Secretary of Amman, named it Algeria Mountain to honor the Algerian Revolution.
